MINISTRIES Through bible study and memorizing God's word we grow in knowledge of the Lord. By studying the word of God we strengthen our relationship with God and learn his purpose for our lives. LYF - LIBERTY YOUTH FELLOWSHIP Liberty offers different activities for every age group on Wednesday Nights. AWANA is a ministry that reaches children and teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. We supply programs, materials and training for children. Our message is simple: We're here to serve you with a ministry that is all about fun with a purpose — to win and grow kids for Christ! The Junior Varsity follows the AWANA program for 7th and 8th grade students. LADIES AUXILIARY The ladies auxiliary meets weekly on Wednesday to have bible study. On the first Tuesday of each month we have a business meeting. We enjoy dinner together then have a devotional brought by one of our ladies. We support missionaries and coordinate some of the church events. All women are welcome to attend and fellowship. The aged women be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, teachers of good things; that we may teach the young women - Titus 2:3-4 MEN'S BROTHERHOOD The Brotherhood is an informal Bible study for men. We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God. We study to gain a knowledge of God and grow spiritually. We have a wonderful time studying God's word. All men are welcome. CHOIR O come let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1 Our goal as a choir is to bring glory to God through music. Join us every Sunday to sing praises to the Lord. To become a member of our choir, all you have to do is want to lift your voice to God. Bro. John Cooper Music Leader/Associate Pastor CHILDREN'S CHAPEL Our goal is to enhance the worship and worship participation of our children including prayer, singing, and the biblical message presented on their level. For children to know and understand the basic Bible stories. Children's Chapel is designed for ages 3-8 but allowing ages 9-10 at the discretion of the parent, director, and pastor. The lesson time will be divided into groups: ages 3-6 and 7-10. No child will be compelled to participate and will only at the discretion of the parents. Children's chapel will begin when the choir opening, to the morning service, is finished. This will allow the children to be with their parents and see them participating in morning worship. The chapel director will call the children participating at this time. Each child upon reaching graduation age will be acknowledged and be presented a Bible as they enter into regular service. SUNDAY SCHOOL Liberty offers a Sunday School class for every age group. Our teachers are very knowledgeable on the subjects in which they teach. Lessons are presented in a way that each age level can understand the material being taught. Class begins at 10:00 AM every Sunday morning. |
